While the site looks different, the mission here remains the same – demystifying parenting news and advice. You’ll find the same slightly obsessive focus on sound evidenced-based parenting. Some things never change!
But there will be some new stuff going on here too.

Parenting Expertease
I’ll be launching PARENTING EXPERTISE a new parent-friendly and kid-friendly (!!) project that I’m creating to help people sort through the endless piles of parenting articles and such. If it isn’t obvious, it isn’t going to be the typical parenting kind of help. Duh, right?
AND then there’s also another new project under work:
National Parenting Awareness Month
Every cause has a day or month so why not sound parenting news and advice? Please help me spread the word and support this cause with me. Momma Data will be celebrating it every year from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. This first month I’m reaching out to parents. Look for a survey next week. I’ll also be holding focus groups with parents to get feedback about their concerns and questions about children and how to keep informed.

Some might remember the original Momma Data started on Blogger back in the day. Now it’s jumped to Word Press after long last and gentle nudges from friends and readers. You’ll notice the formatting on the older posts has not transitioned well. Please excuse the crazed fonts and spacing until I get the professionals in here. It takes a village and a good techie.
